这张专辑是亚洲爵士乐金嗓子细川绫子1977年录制的，采用“三盲鼠”独特的近距离录音，声音无比细腻，后期采用多轨混音制作，拥有惊人的细节与浮凸的定位，是百分百天碟级制作。
细川绫子无疑是亚太地区最受欢迎的爵士女歌手之一，特别是在日本和台湾都拥有众多的爱好者，她的嗓音温和节制，但是款款深情里却有着高度的感染力。首先她的演唱毫不刺激，无论是流行音乐或爵士歌谣，透过她的诠释都很冷静而平和的自然展现，最清淡的口味往往是最能持久的，细川绫子就属细水长流、百听不厌的类型。其次，她的唱片中有很好的编曲和伴奏，这张专辑中的吉他、萨克斯风、钢琴、四把弦乐，都有卿卿我我、密不可分的亲切感。
而最吸引人的，莫过于“三盲鼠”近距离录音所带来的无比鲜锐质感和细微的动态对比，寻常录音是很少能见到这如真似幻的具体音像和快要跳出画面的的活生感。细川绫子以这张专辑走红后，俨然成为日本最佳的爵士女歌手，和“三盲鼠”唱片旗下另一位中本Mario小姐有鼎足而立之势。她开始在东京的爵士音乐节、俱乐部、广播电台散播无穷的人声魅力，最后还获得1991年的Tsumure爵士女声大奖。
专辑中的一首Paul Simon《Bridge over TroubledWater》，加入了萨克斯风的浪漫催化，还有弦乐与钢琴的轻柔抚触，当细川绫子结束最后一个袅袅余音时，不被感动的人真的铁石心肠了！《WhenYouSmile》的俏皮轻快气氛与曼妙有致的节奏，是不是让你想起巴黎香榭里大道上的和熙光影、缤纷美女？标准的多轨混音制作，十几支麦克风最后混录在Studer录音座上，监听用的是“麦景图”胆机推JBL喇叭，日本人喜欢这样的搭配。整张录音呈现的是惊人的细节与浮凸的定位，可别误以为近距离麦克录音音像会很大，不！非但自然得很，还有血有肉，你几乎可以看到她的精神奕奕，闻到她的香汗淋漓，这是百分之百的天碟级制作！
