《半新旧》由香港早期着名录音师黄启光录制，并采用更高档音响器材重新炮制而成，
所选曲目均为熟悉无比民族声乐、器乐作品，要欣赏此碟，建议还是要加大一点音量去聆听。
这张cd所有乐器结像力之高难得一见。乐器分布有如目睹。
每一件都有立体感，音色清爽悦耳，笛子音调高而又不[叫]，提琴音韵有如高山流水，敲声乐器真切动人。
歌手宋佩丽的歌唱极有风格，能保存传统之余，又不泛新意，结象力其惊人。该唱片吸引烧友的地方是歌曲使人感觉快乐，毫无己往中乐的垢病。录音找乐顺定位极符合发烧友要求，有正确的音场，你听着这唱片时，就彷如成班音乐家以一个弧度排列在你前面一样，
深度感简直把你的聆环境无端端扩大多倍，细小房间立刻成大屋，但乐器的比例并没有扩大－－这当然是kk的功力。半新旧:
乐音松容、舒畅、自然地奏出。
心中只有音乐，忘记了前级、后级、喇叭，神经线 ……
除了每件乐器音色极准之外，深、阔度都甚好，每件乐器人声定位都有出色表现。
最吸引人的却是无论人声、扬琴、笛子、尤其是堂鼓都有一种实在的感觉。令人身在现场的 极高享受。
我多次让朋友听《绣荷包》，只有少数人问及SAXOPHONE变奏的存在。我并不是说其他的朋友听不到，而是SAX的溶使人会感到天衣无缝。大家都沉醉在音乐里。
